All functions of the language are interconnected and inseparable from each other. Language is usually defined in two ways: the first is a system of phonetic, lexical, grammatical means that serve as the most important means of communication between people, which is a means of expression of thought, emotion, will, i.e. language is a social phenomenon associated with the human community in its origin and development; the latter is a type of speech characterized by certain methodological features. Language is positioned as the main means of human communication in such a way that it performs various functions in accordance with the intentions and desires of the individual linguistic personality and the tasks of the human community. In its most general form, language functions are understood as the use of the potential properties of language tools in speech for various purposes. Language is not a natural phenomenon, and therefore does not obey biological laws. Language is not inherited, it does not go from large to small. It originates from society. Spontaneous, gradually becoming a self-organizing system.
