Abstract

The object of the research is talk about the abundance of mythic allusions present in nearly all of Shakespeare's works are evidence of the continued cultural influence of Greek and Roman mythology in the period during which he wrote. The abundance of mythic allusions present in nearly all of Shakespeare's works are evidence of the continued cultural influence of Greek and Roman mythology in the period during which he wrote. At the same time, they highlight the importance of the readers' previous knowledge of classical mythology in order to fully experience Shakespeare's work.
