Abstract

Experiments have shown that X-ray radiation propagates through such tubes without significant losses.

One of the reasons for the attenuation of radiation in a waveguide is the difference in the single reflection coefficient from unity. When passing through the waveguide, X-rays experience multiple reflections from the internal walls. The result is part of the radiation for soft x-rays.
