THE ROLE AND EFFECT OF CUSTOMS TARIFFS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOREIGN TRADE: THE EXAMPLE OF UZBEKISTAN
Abstract
Foreign trade is important in ensuring the country's economic development and competitiveness in the international market. Customs tariffs are a tool of decisive importance in this process, through which countries have the opportunity to protect the national economy, regulate exports and imports, as well as receive income for the state budget. In analyzing the foreign trade policy of Uzbekistan, it is important to understand the role of customs tariffs and determine their impact on the national economy. This article examines the customs tariff policy of Uzbekistan, its impact on foreign trade processes, and compares it with the experience of foreign countries.
