Abstract

This study explores the intersection of paremiology and medical terminology in the French and Uzbek languages. Proverbs and idiomatic expressions often reflect cultural understandings of health, illness, and the body. By analyzing medical-related proverbs and set phrases, this paper highlights how different cultural perceptions influence terminological development. The comparative analysis reveals both universal and language-specific patterns in the figurative use of medical concepts.
