Abstract

Translation serves as a vital bridge that connects people, cultures, and ideas across linguistic boundaries. Despite its importance, the process of translation is far from simple. Translators face numerous challenges that go beyond just finding equivalent words in another language. These challenges are rooted in linguistic structures, cultural references, idiomatic expressions, and even the limitations of current translation technologies. This article explores the underlying problems of translation and highlights why achieving true equivalence in meaning is often more complex than it seems.
